Pastor Vermonica "Tinkie" Smith
Pastor Vermonica “Tinky” Smith, affectionately known as the “People’s Pastor,” is a compassionate leader with a deep commitment to building community both within and beyond the walls of the church. Driven by her love for ministry and passion for reaching people from every walk of life, her greatest desire is to see lives transformed by the compelling love of God and to make an eternal impact that changes generations.
Her heart is to see people move beyond cultural and socioeconomic barriers, embrace their God-given purpose, and become catalysts for lasting transformation in their families, communities, and beyond. Today, she finds great joy in serving as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and Lead Pastor of Impact Church in Portsmouth, Virginia. Through her podcast, Propel to Prevail, she has extended the reach of the Gospel beyond the church walls, creating a platform that inspires, equips, and encourages people to overcome life's challenges through faith.
Pastor Tinky's ministry extends far beyond the pulpit. She is deeply committed to walking alongside people, taking the time to understand their struggles, celebrate their victories, and support their spiritual journeys. This genuine love for people has made her a trusted voice and beloved leader, earning the respect and admiration of those who seek her wisdom and guidance.
