Our Founder
Pastor Vermonica "Tinkie" Smith
Pastor Vermonica “Tinky” Doles Smith, also known as the “People’s Pastor” is a leader with a profound passion for God, family and people. With an unwavering commitment to serving others, Pastor Vermonica has dedicated her life to fostering spiritual growth and building a strong sense of community within and outside the walls of the church. With a love for ministry and reaching people from all walks of life, her greatest desire is to see lives transformed through the compelling love of God while making an eternal difference that will change their lives forever. Her heart is to see people move beyond cultural and socioeconomic barriers while embracing their God-given purpose to reach and produce a harvest of transformation for generations to come.
Today, she finds great joy in being a mother, grandmother, wife, and Lead Pastor of Impact Church in Portsmouth, VA. Her podcast “Propel to Prevail” has been a benchmark in reaching the unreached outside the walls of the church. Her ministry goes beyond the pulpit, as she actively engages with individuals to understand their struggles, joys, and spiritual journeys. This genuine connection has made her a beloved figure, earning the respect and admiration of those who seek her guidance. She is eternally grateful for the privilege of serving in God’s kingdom, while reflecting the heart of God and shining forth His light in all that she does. Through her dedicated ministry, she continues to impact lives, instilling a sense of purpose, faith, and community among those fortunate enough to be touched by her guidance, but most of all touched by God.
